Privacy policy
This is a translation of the German privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung). In case of any discrepancy, the German version shall prevail.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Nicole KlinkIndividual Coaching Nicole Klink
Wotanstr. 5

Germany
Phone: +49 163 732 18 54
Email: klink@individualcoachingberlin.de
I am not legally required to appoint a data protection officer and have therefore not done so.
2. Summary
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, and does not embed content from other providers, such as maps, videos or social media plugins. Fonts are also loaded from my own web server. I process your data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and to respond to your enquiries. I do not pass your data on for advertising purposes and I do not sell it.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. On my behalf, the provider stores the files of this website, the server log files listed below and emails you send me via the contact form or directly. I have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The provider may only process your data in accordance with my instructions.
Each time this website is accessed, the server automatically stores the following information in so-called log files:
- IP address of the accessing device (in shortened form only, see below)
- date and time of access
- page or file accessed
- website from which you reached my site (referrer)
- browser and operating system used
- amount of data transferred and status message (for example, whether access was successful)
This data is technically necessary to display the website, to detect errors and to protect the website against attacks. I do not analyse it to identify you as a person and do not combine it with other data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. IP addresses are stored in these log files in shortened form only. The log files are automatically deleted after seven days. No statistical analysis takes place.
Independently of this, the hosting provider logs access with the full IP address in order to detect and defend against cyber attacks. I have no access to these logs. They are deleted after seven days at the latest. Here, too, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in protecting the website and the servers against attacks.
4. Encrypted transmission
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by “https://” in your browser’s address bar and by the padlock symbol. This prevents third parties from reading data you send via the contact form while it is being transmitted to me.
5. Storage in your browser (light and dark mode)
If you switch between light and dark mode using the button in the header, your choice is stored exclusively in your browser (so-called local storage), so that the site appears in your chosen display the next time you visit. This information is not transmitted to me or to any third party. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), as storage is strictly necessary for the function you have expressly requested. You can delete this setting at any time via your browser.
6. Contact form and email
If you write to me via the contact form or by email, I process your name, your email address, your message and any other information you voluntarily provide. The message from the form is sent by email to my mailbox and is not stored in a database on the website.
I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. If your enquiry concerns a possible coaching engagement, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract). For other enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in responding to your message.
If no engagement results, I will delete your enquiry no later than six months after our last contact, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If an engagement results, I will provide you with separate information on how I handle your data in the coaching context.
Please note: Regular emails are not encrypted end to end. If you would like to share very personal information with me, we are happy to talk about it by phone or in our initial conversation.
7. Online coaching via Zoom and Microsoft Teams
If we hold a session online, I use Zoom or Microsoft Teams, as agreed. The providers are:
- Zoom Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland
The following data is processed: your display name, your email address where applicable, your IP address, information about your device, the start and end time of the session, and video and audio during the session. I do not record sessions. You do not need your own account to take part.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the online session forms part of our contract or of steps prior to entering into a contract. I have concluded data processing agreements with both providers.
Data may also be transferred to the USA in this context. Zoom Communications, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For certified companies, the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission are in place (Art. 46 GDPR).
If you prefer not to use either of these services, we are happy to hold our session by phone or in person.
8. Recipients of your data
Your data is only received by:
- my hosting provider ALL-INKL.COM (see section 3)
- Zoom or Microsoft, if we talk online (see section 7)
- public authorities, where I am legally required to disclose it
Apart from the case described in section 7, your data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union.
9. Links to LinkedIn
This website contains simple links to my LinkedIn profile. No data is transmitted to LinkedIn unless you click the link. Only after clicking will you be taken to LinkedIn’s website, where LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.
10. Your rights
You have the right at any time:
- to access the data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- to have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR)
- to have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR)
- to restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

Right to object: Where I process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). I will then no longer process your data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint: You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is:
Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information)Alt-Moabit 59-61

11. Obligation to provide data
You are not obliged to provide me with any data. However, without your name and a way to contact you, I cannot respond to your enquiry.
12. No automated decision-making
I do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and do not create profiles (Art. 22 GDPR).
13. Changes
I will update this privacy policy if the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
